OUR DOCTOR

Meet the director of our show! Your friendly neighborhood eye doctor has been in practice for over 40 years. His journey started in 1971 when he graduated from Airport High School. Followed by a bachelors in biology from USC in 1975. In 1979, the doctor of optometry we all know & love graduated from Southern College of Optometry! Dr. Earl Loftis started off practicing in Kentucky from 1979-1984. He later became the Director of Doctor Services for Lenscrafters in GA, SC, NC, & VA, until 1993. But in his big ol' heart he knew he could serve his patients even better! He had the idea of creating a practice where the doctor was involved with the patients experience from beginning to end. Then Eye on Gervais was born! A practice where you're not just a patient but you're Dr. Loftis' patient & trust us he WILL take care of you, from beginning to end. If you're not happy, he's not happy. He specializes in Low Vision exams, contact lenses, & being awesome. Some of his past times are Gamecock sports, spending time with family, dancing & singing/guitar/songwriting (he even has an album out! Seriously, what can't this man do!?).

Margie

our frame stylist

Margie has been with EOG since the very beginning. Since 1994 when the office opened she has been helping improve our patient experience! She is currently a frame stylist & ensures that our patients leave happy with the perfect frame! On her free time she enjoys going to our lovely beaches and spending time with her friends and family.

Mike

OUR optician

Mike has worked in the optical field since 1988. We have had the pleasure of working with Mike for over 18 years. We all say there’s not much he can’t fix (literally not just glasses, but cars, houses, you name it)! His knowledge of lenses along with his engaging personality and high standard of customer service makes Mike the perfect fit for EOG. Apart from being an optical genius, Mike enjoys golfing, boating, & spending time with his wife.

Daniela

practice Manager & Certified paraoptometric technician

Daniela was born & raised in West Palm Beach, FL, joining our
team in June of 2018. She started her optical experience in 2014, & has been a certified Paraoptometric since 2017. Ensuring that our patient experience is pleasurable, Daniela works with our lovely patients from beginning to end & she is in charge of our social media accounts, so smile for the camera! On her free time she enjoys volunteering to teach others about the bible, & helps in construction of places of worship throughout SC along with her husband. She is also a Latin dancing aficionado & a true "foodie" of all cuisines. Daniela's playful persona brings joy to EOG, and we love having her as part of our unique practice!

Jennifer

Jennifer is a Florida native & started her journey in the optical field in 2017. She joined EOG in September of 2021 & fits perfectly with our unique team. She will be one of the friendly faces you see when you first walk in. Apart from enjoying her job to the fullest, Jen has a passion for music, she enjoys playing the clarinet & the saxophone, & she can kill it on the dance floor. Her & her husband love to travel & explore the hidden gems this world has to find.

Natalia

Front Desk & Patient care tech

Welcoming our newest team member! Natalia is also a Florida native (I think we have a trend going on here) & she started her journey with Eye on Gervais in 2022. She has 6 years of experience as a receptionist & her quirkiness adds to the unique experience we strive for here at Eye on Gervais. She has a very funky & colorful style, which is why she enjoys pairing our patients with a fun & unique frame. On her time away from the office she enjoys arts & crafts, dancing, & most of all spending quality time with her baby girl.
